Field Report Summary

Physical Description

The Beaverilla possesses the stocky build of a beaver, but with the muscular arms and powerful chest of a gorilla. It is covered in thick, dark brown fur, similar to a gorilla, except for its broad, flat beaver tail, which is bare and scaled. It has large, powerful incisors like a beaver, used for felling trees. Its hands are large and dexterous, with opposable thumbs, allowing it to manipulate branches and mud with gorilla-like precision. It typically walks on all fours, but can stand upright to reach higher branches. Its face is a blend of beaver and gorilla features, with small, beady eyes and a prominent brow ridge.

Habitat

Temperate forests and river systems.

Dietary Behavior

Herbivorous, consuming large quantities of aquatic vegetation and tree bark, capable of felling large trees with its powerful jaws.

Evolutionary Origin

A relic species from the Mesozoic era, exhibiting convergent evolution of beaver-like traits for aquatic adaptation and dam construction.

Behavioral Notes

Possesses a resonant roar used for territorial defense and communication across vast distances.
