Field Report Summary

Living at the boundary of forest and savannah, the Chimpanzebra uses its stripes to confuse predators in the dappled light of the tree line. Highly intelligent, they live in fission-fusion societies. Their calls are a bizarre mix of hoots and brays. They supplement their diet of fruit with grazing on tall grasses.
