Initially confused for floating debris, the Crocoduck is a deceptive predator. It drifts innocuously among waterfowl before snapping its tooth-filled bill shut on a fish or frog. Its feathers are armored scales, providing protection from larger predators. Ducklings are particularly dangerous, swarming like piranhas.
