Field Report Summary

This amphibious raptor hunts in the canopy during the rain and retreats to ponds during dry spells. Its skin must stay moist, limiting its flight range to humid ancient forests. It dives from treetops into the water with zero splash to catch trout. Its eggs are laid in gelatinous clutches on high branches.
