Field Report Summary

The Sealican uses its massive, expandable throat pouch to scoop up entire schools of herring. It then hauls itself onto rocks to sunbathe and digest. Its flight is heavy and labor-intensive, often resembling a skipping stone as it struggles to stay airborne over the waves.
